Nacht van de Doden A collaborative performance event based on the Mexican celebration of the night of the dead. A team of artists and performers put work together to form an evening of theatre, processions, music, installation and food. The evening took place in a theatre space filled with magnolias. Special food that was being prepared live was served to members of the audience who took part in a ceremony where they could ‘share’ a meal with a dead loved one. During the evening Ellen danced a tango with Death and produced the finale - A one-thousand piece silver rain of confetti each one printed with its own way to die in Dutch, English and Spanish.
